My viewpoint of Connectivim

This article makes me reflect on my online surfing behaviour. I found that I am not quite active in searching for new information and made them organized, which is a sense of loss of interest somehow. However, I should change this behaviour in wide variety ways, talking with friends and paying more attention to reading news from official websites. As a teacher in the future, the capability to recognize the rapid change in educational resources is important. We should find the subtle change in the environment refer as the Butterly Effect,” the butterfly stirring their air today in Peking can transform storm system next month in New York” through a sensitive lens. As a teacher or a student, try to be open-minded to absorb new information and be motivated. Otherwise, we would be stuck in the past and far behind others.

Another branched theory of connectivism I also very interested is the cross-pollination of learning communities. Learning is a process of connecting specialized nodes or information sources by group discussion or social media sharing or friends informal conversation. So the concept we already have can be linked with what currently received. But we also need to caution; we should put the right people in the right context, and exclude that irrelevant information.
