All theories have their own role during the learning process and they can all be used at different time according to the requirement. But the theory that speaks most to me is constructivism and connectivism. According to the constructivism theory, knowledge is constructed not transmitted. Constructing the knowledge during discussion and peer-review during my journey in TRU is the best example of it because as a teacher in my home country I have not used such creative methods to construct knowledge because of unawareness of learning theories. I consider padlet for this theory as it helps to expand our horizon of knowledge where one question is answered by many students. We also get the chance to review each other’s post which helps to construct our knowledge. Also, we can add comments in that to other’s post. It allows students and teachers to collaborate in digital era and helps them to learn through internet and online forum. Connectivism is kind of theory Learning and knowledge rests in diversity of opinions. Learning is a process of connecting specialized nodes or information sources (Siemens , 2004). In this technological era, internet is used at a large scale in almost all the educational institution in teaching-learning strategy. Students and teachers prefer internet to find any kind of information rather than reading books in the library. Currently, we all are learning using networks so we all learning through connectivism.
