Introduction
During my educational journey, I have memorized, learned by doing, and from others. Even at some points, analyzed and evaluated the learnings before implementing those in real life. The latter way of learning relates it to cognitivism. I always use my previously gained knowledge to create new knowledge from the use of technological gadgets to books in the library. In the future, I want my students to be capable of knowing how to learn by using their previous knowledge and existing knowledge resources. So that they can construct new knowledge and implement it for betterment. It sounds more of constructivism to me. However, during teaching and learning, a teacher should keep the diversity, either in knowledge or other fields, in mind for the accomplishment of teaching goals and objectives.
In past, I came across many apps but I find Zoom as a universal substitute that is suitable for teaching all kinds of subjects and can shift the nature of theories to be aligned with the nature of knowledge to be taught.

Hi Rajman,
My thinking aligns with yours in the diversity of teaching. Similar to you, I believe teachers should be changing their teaching practice constantly in order to meet the needs of their students. Every student and every year is different so as educators we should be willing to change for the betterment of our students. My educational philosophy also aligns with John Dewey’s. He believed in providing students with many and different hands-on experiences, including outside of the classroom. Dewey believed in learning by doing and I believe this kind of learning is much more effective than trying to memorize things or listening to lectures.
Hi Gurreet and Rajman,
I think the best educators out there are the ones who intuitively evaluate all feedback from their students and classroom activities and make the necessary adjustments as they see fit.
Like you, I also believe that hands-on experiences and implementation of knowledge is the key concept I strive for in my classrooms.
As Rajman mentioned, I find that making students recall and tap into their lived experiences provides a strong hook to which new information and knowledge can be attached. Thus, anchoring the learning in a relatable way for the students.
Thank you for your thoughts.
Ruhann
Thanks Ruhann for your thoughtful response,
I also believe that flexibility in teaching approaches makes a teacher the best and feedback from learners and the activities is an important way to assess the reliability and effectiveness of applied methods.
Regards,
Rajman
Hello Gurreet,
Thanking you for your response. I believe being teachers it is our responsibility to provide students opportunities for learning and to quench their curiosity to know about things. Along with this, it is also very important to answer the question that why they need to learn. Because I remember my time in school, learning history, and asking questions to myself that why I need to know what happened like centuries ago which actually affected my learning though I never dared to ask my teachers.
