Introduction

This course has contributed in so many different ways in my teaching and learning approach. A great realization of the necessity of including tech in teaching and need to be adaptive in the moment of crises were few of the great learnings. Along with this, the concepts of considering risks (security and privacy) involved in accessing online educational resources and what are our moral and ethical fiduciary responsibilities toward our students when we are encouraging them to use these tools to have more engrossing learning experiences were the great help to aware us as an educator to protect our students’ data (Mentioned by BRENNA CLARKE GRAY).

I was completely unaware of FIPPA guidelines. When it was first mentioned by Joe, it was entirely an alien term, but then I learned the importance of it as well as how significant it is to make sure to read terms and conditions precisely to ensure privacy and security.

Moreover, to know about the learning theories, dual-coding theory, community of inquiry/educational experience, cultural considerations, the theory of multiliteracies, accessibility was an additional benefit of this course. I learned that it is very important to consider all the pros and cons of online resources, before using them as a teaching aid in a classroom. This not only includes the privacy concern but also the after-effects of these on the daily lives of the learner, how these are helping them in contributing to society. I actually admire the brief light on the concept of UDL in this course. It is really important to consider the universal needs of all the diverse students especially in multicultural environments like this course because it is true that “one does not fit all.”

I have not only learned from the content but also from my peers, their experiences and thoughts actually helped to acquire near to hands-on experience. I thank all for their contribution. I learned so many things. I will use these learning well in the future. I wish you all a prosperous future.

Thanks& Regards
